No real Israel connection, but interesting nonetheless.

I think that this article left out some important information. Al Jazeera was not suspended from Iraq simply because "the news reports broadcasted about the situation in Iraq incited violence and hatred in the population." Although that's as good a reason as any.

If my memory serves me correctly, one of the reasons that they were shut out is that Al Jazeera reporters had a funny way of showing up to the scene of an attack on American troops or Iraqi civillians before the attack took place. They also had an uncanny ability to have their cameras already focussed and pointed in the right direction. Hmmm....

So, they either had ESP or they were dispassionate enough not to warn fellow human beings of an impending attack, but not so dispassionate as to refrain from communicating with their terrorist buddies to find out when and where that attack was to take place. It would seem to me that Al Jazeera's responsibility to their fellow man should trump their professional responsibilities to remain "neutral".
